UPDATE: As of late November 2013 I will no longer be performing with THE ANTI-QUEENS. Currently I am now involved with a DrumLine and will be posting updates about that as things start to move along.
I appreciate everyone's support of The Anti-Queens and your continued support for me as I move on with my drumming career.
whew... well september is here, which means summer is pretty much over and done with, and what a busy and fun summer it was! Played lots of festivals this summer, and of course tons of local gigs in Toronto. Check out all the awesome pics and videos from THE ANTI-QUEENS' summer on our facebook page --> www.facebook.com/theantiqueens
We are playing one last festival this summer, and thats KOI festival this weekend! i'm really stoked to be playing this festival, the whole thing has a really great line up, and for a 90's kid like myself i'm super excited to be playing the same festival as TREBLE CHARGER! if you dont know who those guys are, definitely check them out!
Should be a great show, i'm really looking forward to it!
heyyyyy, so its been forever since i made a new stick trick lesson video. so i figured i would make one real quick and post it on my main channel. It was filmed on my cell phone in one take so its not the best quality BUT i figure its better than nothing, and i really want to start posting more videos, so this is a start.
hey, sorry its been a while since i've posted anything. Been working like a dog! but anyway... the band is going to be super busy this summer, so i thought i'd give you all a heads up on all the up coming gigs. here is a list of all our gigs for the summer
Other than that, i havnt posted many videos... but i have been fiddling around with some Travis Barker drum pad warm-ups which i've posted on my second channel. So if you are interested in that, check those vids out --> www.youtube.com/OtherLbird44
On Jan 16/2013 myself and THE ANTI-QUEENS performed one of my favorite Joan Jett songs 'Do You Wanna Touch' ... here is the video of us playing it live from the show.
Jan 16th 2013, The Anti-Queens played a show at Clinton's in Toronto. I personally have never played there before until this show. It was a suuuuuuuper fun show, and i loved watching This Is The Noise and thrash'n around in the mosh pit during their set. All in all a great night!

Here is a video of our song 'Grow Up/Stay Young' from this show:
so i was watching the shaytards vlog tonight and notice at around 12min 42seconds into the video i saw some familiar faces. None other than miss Emily Bones (from The Anti-Queens) and Sarah Blackwood (of Walk Off The Earth) doing their cover of Weezer's 'say it aint so'. FREAKING SO RAD!
check out 12:42 in the video to see Emily and Sarah
Here is a teaser for our original song 'Grow Up, Stay Young' which will be featured on our new 6 song EP set to release early 2013! So check it out and let us know what you think, in the mean time go like us on facebook!! -- we appreciate all the support!
